Thurs May 28 – Montauk Spring Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports an OK day of Porgy fishing today on the Viking Starlite. It was definitely an improvement from what we’ve been seeing with a much steadier pick. We had one nice drop that for the beginning of the day held steady with one good quality fish, but once the tid started to run the bite slowed and we saw a lot more seaweed. There was no pool on the boat today, but the large Porgy was about the same as yesterday around 2 lbs. We will be sailing again tomorrow Friday, May 29th at 5am, call or book online, check-in starts at 4am.
