Fri May 29 – Montauk Spring Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a tougher day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite given the less than ideal fishing conditions. The water today was a lot more stirred up than its been with a lot of seaweed making the pick on the Porgies more difficult as they tend to not bite as much. However everyone did manage to get some Porgies to bring home. The fish are there just the conditions made it difficult today. The pool winner went to Jose Baptista from Riverside, NJ with a 2.5 lb Porgy. WE WILL NOT BE SAILING ON ANY TRIPS TOMORROW SATURDAY, MAY 30TH DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS. We will be sailing again on Sunday May, 31st at 5am for our Montauk Spring Porgies.
