Fri June 19 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Captain JR reports a breezy, but successful morning onboard the Viking Star. We started out targeting Fluke, Sea Bass, and Porgies but the conditions were not favorable. We switched over to jigs and found lots of hungry Striped Bass. We landed all sizes with quite a few slot sized fish for dinner. A very enjoyable trip. The pool winner was Christine Anerella from Montauk, NY with an 11 lb Striped Bass. We are sailing again at 1PM and for a Sunset Jigging trip at 5:30PM.
