Back to Viking Fleet Fishing Reports

Sun Aug 9 – 1/2 Day Fishing

Captain JR reports an improved afternoon on the Viking Star. Things started out on a high note with lots of fluke and a few Porgies and Seabass keeping us very busy. We found some very nice KEEPER Fluke early on until the tide eased off. Things definitely slowed to a pick after the change but we chipped away and found a few more keepers. The first pool winner was Mark Santa-Donato from White Plains, NY, with a 5.2 lb Fluke. The second pool winner was Patti Montagnni from Soyosset, NY, with a 3.8 lb Fluke.
