Sun Aug 9 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports a slow steady pick this morning. At about mid day we hit a weird lull where there was very little action. After about 30 mins the fish started biting again. We had a good mix of Porgies, Seabass, Sea Robbins, some Bluefish and one keeper Fluke. The first pool winner was Noel AKA Fish from Roosevelt Island with a 3 lb Porgy. The second pool winner was Julio Lopez from Brentwood, NY, with a 3 lb Bluefish. People fishing on a boat; person holds up a caught fish.
