Sun Aug 23 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Captain JR reports a very nice morning onboard the Viking Star. It was a bit breezy early in the day so we stayed very local and hopped around a few of our hotspots. We had lots of success and found a multitude of species including Fluke, Seabass, Porgies, Trigger Fish, Squirrel Hake, and Blackfish (yes, we released them). Everyone wound up with a very nice mixed bag catch of fish for dinner. The pool winner was LeeVan Horn from Ridgewood, NJ, with a 4.6 lb Fluke.
