Sun Aug 23 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports a very good day of fishing. We started out down the beach where we had very nice pick of medium to large size Porgies. We went east of the lighthouse and had a good pick of Jumbo Porgies. We then did some more drifting where we had a mix of Porgies, Seabass, Fluke, and Bluefish. All in all very good fishing today. The first pool winner was Carlos Games from Fairfeild, NJ, with a 2.6 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Phillip Mario from Brooklyn, NY, with a 3.8 lb Sea Bass.
