Mon Sept 7 to Thurs Sept 10 – 3 Day TNT ULTRA LTD

Captain JR reports a great start to our 2026 offshore season on the Viking Star. Our first TNT trip was a big success with a nice boat limit of Yellowfin Tuna and Golden Tilefish. We spent the daylight hours catching Golden Tilefish, Blueline Tilefish, Barrel Fish, Pollock, assorted Hakes, Red Belly Rosefish, and Cusk. The night Yellowfin bite was red hot with a few hammer Mahi in the mix as well. Almost all of the Tunas were captured on jigs with just a handful eating the bait rigs. A wonderful time was had by all!

Alex Groumbas took the Tuna Pool with a 20 lb Yellowfin and the Edible Pool with a 25 lb Mahi.

Dan Chou won the Tile Pool with a 30 lber.
