Fri Sept 11 – New Moon Striped Bass

Captain Carl reports plenty of action for the first half of the trip last night aboard the mighty Viking Starship, however, a dismal second half.
The diamond jigs worked very well for quality sized fun fighting bluefish, and plenty of them. We caught plenty, so we switched over to the live bait and searched most of our known haunts for the Striped Bass, but to no avail. They just simply aren’t back in town yet. We expect that to change VERY SOON, perhaps our Fall Full Moon trips in 2 weeks!
We are sailing again tonight aboard the “Worlds Largest” Viking Starship and we look forward to more rod bending adventures!
