Tue Sept 15 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a slowish start to Block Island fishing on the Viking Starship. We started out inshore close to the island and drifted. There were a decent amount of Porgies along with a few keeper Sea Bass, but most were shorts. Offshore we had mostly medium Porgies and short Sea Bass. A lot of time was spent trying out spots, so we should be dialed in soon. The first place pool winner was Ouari Gray from Bronx, NY with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Orville Golding from Bronx, NY with a 3.2 lb Sea Bass.
