Tue Sept 15 to Thurs Sept 17 – 60 Hour Tuna/Mahi LTD

Captain JR reports a great 60 hour Tuna and Mahi trip onboard the Viking Star. We had lots of Yellowfin Tuna caught trolling, chunking, jigging, and on surface poppers throughout the voyage. They were mixed sizes, with some fish in the 60-80 pound class.
We spent a good portion of the daylight hours hopping around lobster pots and finding lots of Mahi. Everyone ended up with a very nice catch.
To top off the trip we landed four meaty Swordfish to add even more variety to the menu. It was a great trip with lots of good times! We still have spots available on our next 60 Hour Tuna/Mahi trip 9/29.

Pool Winners:
Terrance Key – 82lb Yellowfin
Isaac Hartman – 74 lb Yellowfin
Ilia Zerakhto – 18 lb Mahi
