Thurs Sept 17 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We had very good fishing on the morning tide that lasted longer than yesterday. There were plenty of Porgy and Sea Bass keepers. Once the tide started to flood we headed offshore of Block Island. It was a slower pick out there, but the there were nice size fish. The first place pool winner was Joshua Haynes from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.5 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Kino Francis from Queens, NY with a 4 lb Sea Bass.
