Wed Sept 30 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports signs of life after the storm on the Viking Starship!! It was pretty much a slow pick everywhere we went. We had nice size Sea Bass and Porgies close to the island, with tons of Mackerel. Out in the deep the Mackerel were much more abundant, so we moved around a bunch. The Porgies were nice size out there, but the Sea Bass were smaller. Everyone got a few  keepers, but they had to pick through a lot of smalls. The winner of both pools was Winston Brown from the Bronx, NY with a 2.6 lb Porgy and a 4 lb Sea Bass.
