Fri Oct 2 – Night Squid Fishing

Captain Carl reports a very promising start to our Fall Squid fishing season! We picked away at mixed sized Longfin Loligo sashimi quality units, mostly medium to large size with a few XL size. There was still some small bluefish around that were a bit of a nuisance, but not too bad. High hook had over 50 pieces. We had some double headers. Everyone went home with more than a meal! It will only get better and better as we go deeper into the fall!
