Fri Oct 9 – Squid Fishing

Captain Carl reports a strong start to the night with the first hour being a good pick of quality sashimi grade Longfin Squid.
The bite got picky after that. We watched swarms of giant squid swimming on the surface all around the boat, but they were being chased by predators, so it was tricky to catch them. We made a couple moves and picked some more. Some folks had 3/4 of a bucket, some 1/2, some less.
We are sailing again tonight and there are very few spots available, so make sure to make a reservation to secure your spot!
