Fri Oct 8 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We started out drifting by Block Island up close. It was all Porgies and Sea Bass with keepers in the mix. When the tide turned it slowed down, so we headed south of the island. It was a pretty good pick there. Much improved from the last few days. The first place pool winner was Sing with a 2.8 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Dalton Johnson from Amityville, NY with a 2.4 lb Sea Bass.
