Fri June 10 – Montauk Spring Porgies
Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starlite. It was our first day a the lighthouse and it was a slow pick. The Porgies were a nice size and mostly large. One of the drops had excellent fishing for an hour then the tide changed . Overall is was a slow pick of decent fish. We also had some Bluefish. Orland Tsang was the pool winner with a 2 lb Porgy. Unfortunately, Spring Porgy fishing is cancelled for Tomorrow, Thursday June 9th on the Viking Starlite. The next trip scheduled is Friday, June 10th.
