Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had big porgies today and plenty of them! There was lots of action and we did have some porgies and a few fluke. Today’s pool winner was Marco Mizrahi of Syosset with a nice big 4lb porgy. Full Day Fluke Captain Stephen D reports an okay day on the Viking Stariper. There were a lot of massive sea bass everywhere we went. Fluke fishing was slower, but everyone still ended up with some. Half Day Fluke PM Today’s first place pool winner was Dave Foxen of Garden City with a 4.6lb fluke and in second place was 7 year old TJ Stazzone of Kings Park with a 2.9lb sea bass. Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports a slower night fishing at Block Island tonight. We had beautiful weather and a good tide, but not a lot of bites. Tonight’s pool winner was Phil Rodriguez with a nice 48.8lb striped bass. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Stephen Francis reports an okay afternoon of fishing. Full Day Jumbo Fluke and Sea Bass Captain Carl reports an overall good day on the full day boat. We found some nice fluke to pick away at all day, some drifts were better than others, but a few folks had their fluke limits. Everyone had a bunch of sea bass as always. It was a good day. Full Day Jumbo Fluke and Sea Bass Captain Carl reports a good day on the full day boat. We had tons of sea bass to fill the buckets. Fluking was a struggle until the end of the day when we found some nice keepers to work on. All in all a great day! The pool winner Mr Jaehyun Hwang with a 5.3lb fluke. We only had 3 bass for the night. 1 at 35lbs, 1 at 42.7lbs and the pool winner Ken Malone from Rockaway with a  43.3LB GIANT MOO COW. Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports an action packed night on the Viking Star. We started off catching nice striped bass and a few bluefish in the mix. But at the night progressed, we caught more blues and less bass. The blues really took over providing some fun fights for some first time anglers. Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports a slow but steady night of fishing at Block Island. Every fish we had, besides one, was a real Behemoth Moo Cow! George Jehn nailed a 40 pounder, and his nephew Richy landed his biggest bass ever at 38lbs! We also had another 42.4 pounder and Kelvin Sakhichand of Queens, NY took the pool with a 49 pound Behemoth Bass! Half Day Fluke PM Captain Dave G reports a good afternoon of half day fishing.
