Schedule Update: The Full Moon Special Night Bass trip for tonight Fri Nov 7th has been cancelled. The AM and PM Half Day Jigging Trips for tomorrow Sat Nov 8th have been cancelled.   Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. The dogs didn’t give us too much trouble today and we had plenty of nice big porgies along with plenty of sea bass, a few cod and a few blues.

Block Island Porgies and Sea BassCaptain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today. It was a little tough with the dogs around, but we did manage a good catch with plenty of porgies and sea bass. We also had a few keeper cod and some blues. All in all, everyone ended up with plenty of fish.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a decent day on the porgy grounds we had nice size sea bass and a little smaller size porgies we had some dogs that gave a little Trouble on the first drop. We also had some blue fish in the mix. The pool winner Au Keung with a 3lb porgy Second place was Mr Kim from Astoria, NY with a 12blue fish.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a decent day of fishing we had nice size porgies and sea bass along with 10keeper cod and about 30 blue fish in the mix. We did have some dogs around and the blue fish were chomping on the porgies. The pool winner Mr Keith Watson from Freeport, NY with a 4.0 porgy Second Place Mr Tony Ho from Queens, NY with a 12lb Bluefish.

Schedule Update: Monday November 3rd Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass is CANCELLED due to the weather!

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had plenty of porgies and sea bass along with a couple cod and some blues. There were only a few dogs around today but they weren’t too much of a bother. Today’s pool winner was Marlin Lawrence of Queens with a JUMBO 4.5lb porgy.

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a better day of fishing today than we have been aboard the Viking Starship. It was a nice day with a mix of porgies, nice sea bass, cod and lots of blues. There weren’t that many dogs around today which made for a good trip. Todays first place pool winner was Richard Santos of Kenilworth NJ and in second place was Simon Choi of NY NY.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports we had some nice size  fish today porgies up to 3.9lb sea bass up to 5lb about 12 keeper cod. The dog fish gave us a hard time today we had to move around to shallow waters to get away. The pool winner Mr Choung from Flushing, NY with a 3.9lb Second place went to Mr Park from Flushing, NY with a 10.5lb Cod

Block Island  Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day on the porgies and sea bass grounds. We had about 12 keeper cod and even blue fish in the mix.The quality of fish were nice size everyone caught there limit on the sea bass. The pool winner was Mr Yoel Suarez from Clark, NJ with a 4lb porgies Second Place went to Mr Dane from Queens, NY with a 11lb Cod fish.
