Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had mostly sea bass today along with some nice sized porgies, a couple blues and about 15-20 keeper cod. Today’s first place pool winner was S. Danne of Queens Village with a 3.5lb porgy and in second place was Andreas Voutsinas of Jamaica NY with a 10lb cod.

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a tough day of fishing due to the conditions today, but we managed a good catch of fish. We had a handful of nice big quality porgies. We had a great catch of sea bass with most people having their limit. We also had about a dozen keeper cod and bluefish. Today’s first place pool winner was Sam Chen of Brooklyn with a nice big 4lb porgy and in second place was Tom Louie of Syosset with a 20lb cod.

Block Island  Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports very good day of fishing .We had porgies up to 3lb sea bass up to 5lb and some blue fish and 1keeper cod in the mix.The dog fish was no trouble today just great fishing all day.

The dogs gave us a little problem today but we had a good day.The pool winner Mr Ken Yu from Staten Island, NY with a 3lb porgy Second Place went to Mr Azim Khan from Brooklyn, NY with a 11lb Cod. NoMan’s Trip Captain Steven Sr. Reports it was a typical old school Blackfish Heaven trip on the Viking Star.  Conditions were tough with wind against tide, but the white chins were aggressively attacking the crabs and it turned out to be another banner day with some bulldogs coming over the rail. We definitely saw more shorties which made for consistent action all day, but average…

We also had about  10 keeper cod and a few blue fish in the mix, The pool winner Mr Ramirez from Manhattan, NY with a 3lb Porgy Second place Sandra Valleso from Flushing Queens with a 10lb cod.

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a very good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There were plenty of porgies and sea bass and the dogs were not bad. There were 12 keeper cod up to 20 lbs and about 30 blues. Everyone had so many fish they wanted to leave early! Today’s first place pool winner was Norman Owens from Bronx, NY with a 4lb porgy and in second place was Gary Thigpen from Freeport, NY with an 11 lb cod Fish.  

NoMans Blackfish and Sea Bass Special Captain Carl reports another all out blackfish slam on the Viking Star! Our first drop at NoMans was just incredible. Lots of quality tog to 10lbs and it didn’t take long to fill limits all around the boat. We made a few more drops and found some more bigger togs and a few sea bass. All in all, it was just epic and we had a full boat limit of quality fish. Pool winner was over 10lbs! we are going again this Saturday Nov 15th at 3am. Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Todays first place pool winner was David Lu of Flushing with a 2.8lb porgy and in second place was Gus Koufalis of the Bronx with a 13.4lb cod. Report to follow.

Plenty of porgies and sea bass and about a half dozen keeper Cod with some Blues mixed in. Today’s first place pool winner was Danny Munoz of Ny, Ny with a 3.5 lb Porgy. Second Place pool winner was Dennis Edwards of Teaneck, NJ with a 12lb Blue Fish.
