Half Day Fluke PM and AM Capt Ant reports the AWESOME fluke fishing continued today on both the morning and the afternoon trips. In the AM we hit the spots we had a hot bite at yesterday and it didn’t disappoint. In 4 drifts we had over 30 keepers. Unfortunately it got a bit ugly so we abandoned the zone to find out they were biting just as good close to home.  The first place pool winner in the morning was Greg Figarello from Ronkonkoma with a 6.25lb fluke. John Gilday from East Williaston got second place in the pool. In the afternoon we once again had Super fishing even with a brisk 2.4knot drift. Half Day Fluke PM Fishing was very good this afternoon. We had lots of fluke and a nice mix of bluefish, porgies and sea bass. Everyone went home with some fish! James Borteck took the pool with a 5lbs fluke. Full Day Porgies & Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day of porgy fishing we had lots off porgies and sea bass up to 4lbs we even manage to get 2 keeper striped bass and some blue fish in the mix. The pool winner Mr Michael Haywood from Brooklyn, NY with a 3lb porgy. Half Day Fluke AM Captain Anthony reports a FLUKETASTIC morning trip with practically pure flatties coming over the rail. We averaged 2 keeps a person with 5 people at their limit!! We had a few sea bass and scup but the fluke bite was incredible….

Night Striped Bass Captain Anthony reports horrible conditions which equaled for horrible fishing. We started with slack drift, we got a few blues, then once we got the tide the drift was difficult but nothing mattered. Bass were not on the feed. We stayed out late and finally started marking, but only managed 1 out of a pile. The first place pool winner was George Simmons of North Babylon with a 23pounder and in second was Lucian Forantatas of Croton on Hudson with a 12pounder. Sunset Striped Bass Trip Capt Ant reports a bloodbath with blues last night.  It was awesome!!  We had a bunch of families with many young girls beating up on the choppers and loving every minute of it.  Hopefully the new shoes for school weren’t worn last night!!  After boating about 100 of the yellow eyed beauties, we were off to bass fish with eels.  As it seems like its been lately, we got one immediately, a healthy 20lber and then the bottom dropped out with the tide for the remainder of the evening.  We got in a couple of drifts at the start of the flood but never really got to feeding speed.  All in all rod bending action and an absolutely gorgeous Sunset!! Night Striped Bass Captain Anthony reports and optimistic outcome to last nights traditional bass trip. They bit where they were supposed to, however not in the quantity we’d like. Blues were definitely feasting as well, so overall it was a decent fishing trip with the two moo cows landed by Brian Jones of Golden Bridge NY who nailed a 38.7lb slob and took 1st place in the pool. And then there was Jeremy Hernandez from Yonkers who took second place with his 30.4 pounder. That was Jeremy’s second pool win in 2 nights- oh yea, and hes only 14! Way to go Jeremy! Half Day Fluke PM Little slower than this mornings trip due to some higher winds but still put together a good catch of keeper fluke along with a bunch of porgies in the mix. In the end everyone went home with a nice catch for the day. First prize in the pool went to Micheal Benneth from Montauk with a 7lb Fluke. Second was Wilson Plaza from Montauk with a 5lb Fluke Block Island Behemoth Striped Bass Trophy Hunt Capt Ant reports very good fishing at Block Island if you’re into behemoth bluefish. The bass on the other hand was slow, most likely due to the blue infestation on all the pieces. We did find some healthy bass very late in the trip, last 5 drifts were solid if you tended your lines. Unfortunately no behemoths but we’ll try again…

Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports a tough day at the office although we had bites-plenty of them but the 4.2 knot drift made it tough to connect. We grinded out a catch but could never get a consistent feeding frenzy. Pool winners were 11 year old Justin Wolfe who had a 28lber and coming in first, and for second place we had Chris Luke with a 24lb striper.
