1/2 Day Fishing – PM Capt Joey D reports a good trip on the Viking Star. There was a lot of actions with keepers and shorts around the boat. We had all of the usual suspects of Fluke, Sea Bass and Porgies. The first place pool winner was 10 year old Davin Barksdale from Mahopac, NY with a 4 lb Fluke. The second place pool winner was Steve Bento with a 3.5 lb Fluke. Way to go Steve with first and second place pool winners for the day!

1/2 Day Fishing – AM Capt Joey D reports good fishing this morning on the Viking Star. We had a lot of action with Fluke, Sea Bass and Porgies being caught. The pool winner was Steve Bento with a 6.5 lb Fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had a nice shot of large to jumbo porgies all morning. We then went for some sea bass and found a nice pile mixed in with the porgies. We also had a bunch of trigger fish, mackerel and a handful of fluke. Today’s first place pool winner was Maurice Wauchope of Hempstead with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Luiz Maibudio of Brentwood with a 4.5lb sea bass.

Night Striped Bass Captain Bill reports a good night of bass fishing. We had our boat limit! The pool winner was Nicky Berenson 38lb striped bass.  

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another great day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had an excellent day of porgy fishing with lots of jumbos! It was steady all day, and then we went to get the sea bass. We found a nice pile and everyone had their limit….

Night Striped Bass Capt Carl was happy to report EXCELLENT Striped Bass fishing aboard the Viking Starship tonight! We had half a boat load of passengers, with a Boat Limit of Quality Stripers taken! We had to wait a little while for the tide to get going, but once it did it was game on…

The first place pool winner was Michael Collins from Long Island with a 6.7 lb Fluke. The second place pool winner was Shane Stanton from Mendham, NJ with a 6 lb Fluke.
