Night Striped Bass Jig & Eel Combo Capt Ant reports a tale of two tides for the 6p trip and the Midnight Madness trip. One being fair and the other, well let’s just say painful. On the 6p we had wind against Ebb tide and the Starship felt like it was drifting in mud. We had plenty of marks but I’m thinking the slower speed prevented a feeding frenzy that was the night before. Even the blues weren’t as abundant. We only managed a couple of keepers, a Moo Cow by James Esposito of Shoreham at 30lbs and an 18lber by Martin Wellen Dowd from NYC for 2nd. Half Day Fluke Pm A full report will followThe Pool winner 10 year old Tim Tomczyk from Larchmont, NY with a 6.1lb Second Place Angelo Demetroulakos from Brooklyn, NY with a 4.7lb…

Night Striped Bass Capt. Ant reports a slow start to last nights trip but once we got the tide we had a BEHEMOTH BLAST for the last 2 and a half hours. Overall the trip was fantastic with many of our regular guests catching multiple Moo Cows. Practice makes perfect and these guys just know the way these big boys bite. Chad the Shad had 4 to 35lbs, George “new book our soon” Jehn had 4 to 37lbs and Gary “Big Fish” Young had 4 to 38lbs. All retained their limit. Joe Pagillo limited to 30, Dan Bender and Ivan Grvic each had 32lbers. Scott Goldman had his limit as well but he landed a Behemoth at 40lbs . Jimmy “Keepon Reeling” Thieling from Deer Park had his largest ever at 41.3lbs and that Behemoth took 2nd Place. Scott…

Jig Eel Combo Night Bass Capt Ant reports a very frustrating 6a Bass trip. The fish were there, they were biting, but it was just one of those trips where whatever could go wrong went wrong. Tangles, missed bites, break-offs…uggh we all know some days we have to make the most of a bite because sometimes you only get one. We landed about 20% of hook-ups/ bites. That being said we had another molly-whopper thanks to Matt Stanton. A 40.3lber, Matts largest Bass ever. Gary “BigFish” had a beauty in the upper 30’s. All fish caught were quality at 25lbs or higher. Midnight Madness Capt Ant reports the MADNESS from the earlier trip quickly vanished as another euphoric madness took over. During our first drift and we knew it would be game-on for the entire tide and for the most…

Night Striped Bass Full Moon Special Well it was a slower night for the raging flood tide, not as we had hoped on the super moon. Fish were marked but a very slow pick…it seemed we got one here one there all night. Thomas Aiello took 1st with a 39lb slob and Jack Miov for the 3rd time in 3 trips had his luck hold up with a 38.3lber. Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass Capt Carl reports a decent day in the full day boat. Again, we were in search of the big flukes we have been seeing and again, we caught some, but not in the great numbers we have been seeing. Some anglers did good, and some not so good. We did see a lot more sea bass than we have been seeing, with some limits. Overall…

Block Island Behemoth Capt Ant reports: Well we’ve used epic fishing, we’ve used Bassacre, we’ve used bloodbath, but last night was simply the best bass fishing trip ever experienced by everyone in the boat. And there were guys fishing for bass for 50 years. We were 2 fish away from our limit after 6 drifts. 90% were over 30lbs. We had 5 over 40 including pool winner for the second time in a week Jack Miov from port Washington with a 47.8lber. Jackie G from port jeff had a 46.2lber. Pictures attached, vids on Facebook, tired anglers slept with smiles, Capt and crew couldn’t be more thankful for natures gift this season. We are sailing 6p sharp tonight. Please make a res if you are interested in going as full moon weekend is upon us!! Half Day Fluke PM Captain…
