Sun Oct 9- Full Moon Night Striped Bass
Capt JR reports a slow night of Striped Bass fishing on the Viking Starship last night. We had a tough trip overall last night; however, we stuck it out and tried many different areas in search of some fish. At the 11th hour we finally found and boated a few nice Striped Bass thanks to the persistence of our customers! The first place pool winner went to Edwin Mytzytz.
Sun Oct 9 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM
Capt JR reports slow day of fishing today on the Viking Star. Once again it was a battle between the wind and tide, but managed to get a good mixed bag of fish for everyone to go home with. We had a nice range of SeaBass up to 3lbs and some large sized SeaBass. The pool winner went to Elias Pantozopoulus from the Bronx, NY with a 3.2 lb SeaBass. We are cancelled for the 8AM half day fishing tomorrow and will try to get out in the afternoon.
Sun Oct 9- Viking Starlite Full Day Private Charter
Capt Steven Sr. reports a decent day of fishing today on our private charter on the Viking Starlite. The conditions made for a more difficult day of fishing as we were battling the Full Moon tide and the strong wind. The did manage a steady pick of Porgies and SeaBass with fish at every drop. Everyone ended the day with a nice medley of fish to bring home for dinner.

Sat Oct 8 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM
Capt JR reports a much improved afternoon on the Viking Star. There was a lot of action with Sea Bass and everyone had a few keepers. We also had a few Porgies, Weakfish and Chub Mackerel. The pool winner was Jason Flowers from Massapequa, NY with a 4.5 lb Sea Bass.
