Full Day Local Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports excellent porgy fishing on the Viking Starship today. We had a good bite with a mix size of medium to large fish. We made a few drops for sea bass where we found a lot of them, but they were mostly small. We did manage a handful of keepers. The pool winner was Gus Sponias with a 2 1/4 lb Porgy.

Full Day Local Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Capt Stephen D reports a good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We had a steady pick of decent sized fish all day with good action! The pool winner was Errol Millman with a 3.1 lb Porgy.

Half Day Fishing AM Captain Sarah reports a decent catch today or the windy conditions. The porgies were very large and plentiful! We also had some nice sized sea bass. Today’s pool winner was Angelo Demetroulakos of Brooklyn with a nice 4.35lb sea bass.

Full Day Local Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an excellent day of porgy fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. It started out very good on the first drop and it lasted all day until everyone caught their limit of scup! They were mostly all medium to large size fish and everyone did so good, we had to come in early. We also had a handful of nice sea bass. Today’s pool winner was Fox Hylton of Teeneck, NJ with a 2.8lb porgy.

Night Striped Bass Capt Bill reports a fine night of fishing on the Viking starship. We had plenty of action, and tons of bites, and ended up with a respectable catch. There were many fish lost with many big ones landed. Tyler Lamaze from Bethlehem, PA won the pool with a 34 pounds Striped Bass…

Full Day Local Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports a much improved day on the Viking Starship. We tried something different and after a little looking around we got on the fish. We had a mixed size of porgies and everyone had a couple of keeper sea bass after picking through the smaller ones. We anchored up after the moon tide eased off and we had good mix of porgies and sea bass. The first place pool winner was Rod Clark from Freeport, NY with a 3.1 lb Porgy. The second place pool winner was Luis Duarte from Williamstown, NJ with a 4.8 lb Sea Bass.

Night Bass Capt Carl reports another absolutely slam dunk night aboard the Viking Starship Night Bass trip. We had another sold out crowd, and another Full Boat Limit of Striped Bass! The action was just ok, then turned absolutely insane! We did see a smaller class of fish, but no shorts, and plenty of fish…
