Half Day Fluke PM Captain Dave G reports a great afternoon if fishing! We caught lots of sea bass, plenty of porgies and some keeper fluke. It was a great trip. The pool winner was John Obnewski of Bethpage with a 3lb fluke. Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports good porgy fishing today with some nice sea bass, about 1/2 dozen fluke, striped bass and blues despite the rough conditions. Heider Possidonio from Kearny, NJ won both pools with a 31/2 lb porgy and a 6lb fluke. Half Day Fluke AM Captain Dave G reports a slow morning of fishing. Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a very good day of porgy fishing today aboard the Viking FiveStar. We had mostly porgies today, we did go looking for the sea bass but we were not as successful today with them. We did have very nice quality porgies though. Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports a great night aboard the Viking Starship. We picked a few nice striped bass at the end of the tide, then had to sit through slack catching nothing for a while. Then as soon as the flood tide started, we had solid steady pickings with a mixed size of stripers and a couple of moo cow big ones mixed in. We were only 2 fish shy of a boat limit. Block Island Behemoth Bass Captain Carl reports another excellent night of striped bass fishing at Block Island. We had to wait a little while for the tide, but once it came it was excellent super fun action with a mix of sized stripers but plenty of big ones. Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports tough porgy fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. Everyone did have their limit of sea bass. The pool winner was Aimee Johnston from Mattituck, NY with a 2.7lb porgy. Half Day PM Captain Dave G reports an excellent day on the water. There was a mixed bag of fluke, sea bass, porgies. It was a little slower than normal because of the strong full moon tide, but we did manage to get some fish over the rail. We had some porgies, sea bass, 1 striped bass and a couple fluke. Then the sea bass and porgies started to bite. We ended up with a nice mixed bag. Block Island Behemoth Bass Captain Carl reports another absolutely spectacular night bass fishing trip! It took a little while for the tide to get right and we didn’t have a bite for the first 2 hours, but then it was game on! We had a sold out crowd aboard and everyone had a blast slaying moo cow linesiders. We ended up with another full boat limit of quality striped bass! Beautiful weather, a full moon, a happy crowd and a deck load of big bass made for one of those nights not to be forgotten! Tonight’s first place pool winner was Joe Welz of Smithtown with a 39.7lb striped bass and in second place was Jack Trinceri of Lindenhurst with a 37.2lb striped bass. Block Island Behemoth Bass Captain Carl reports EXCELLENT fishing tonight on the bass boat tonight! As soon as we arrived, it was on! Giant bass were eating the jigs veraciously and then once it got dark and they ate the eel just as good! We had a large crowd and a full boat limit one again. We also had a bonus fluke at 8.75lbs! This upcoming full moon really has the bass on the feed, so NOW is the time to come out and get some! George Johnson took the pool with a 30.15lb Moo Cow! .
