Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports another slow night on the bass grounds however we did nail a beauty at 34.88lbs caught by Francis Mistresse of Lindenhurst N.Y wind against tide gave us a very slow drift all night and it was tough to cover any ground. Conditions for tonight will no doubt be better with wind with a new moon tide. fingers crossed! Half Day Fluke PM Captain Joe reports an okay afternoon of fishing. Second was Wilson Plaza from Montauk with a 5lb Fluke Block Island Behemoth Striped Bass Trophy Hunt Capt Ant reports very good fishing at Block Island if you’re into behemoth bluefish. The bass on the other hand was slow, most likely due to the blue infestation on all the pieces. We did find some healthy bass very late in the trip, last 5 drifts were solid if you tended your lines. Unfortunately no behemoths but we’ll try again…

2 Day Deep Water Extended Both Days Ultra Limited Captain Steven Sr reports an okay offshore trip this past week. On day 1, Mother Nature did her part by giving us an unpleasant start with steady 20+ mph winds all day, which made it very difficult to tend the bottom. With the big ground swell from the east-wind, we had some tough conditions, but we did manage to make a decent day with some tiles, hake, pollack, a few norther groupers and barrel fish. On day 2, we had the opposite- it was flat and calm, making for good conditions and a much better bite. We had tile fish up to 43lbs, 9 fish over 25lbs, a nice bunch of 8-15lb healthy tiles- overall lots of quality fish! By the end of the trip, everyone was happy with their catch!…

In the first minute of the first drift Tasso Tsiatis slammed a doormat fluke over 8lbs. We steadily picked away at quality keeper fluke for the whole morning, many around a little bit here and there. There was some sea bass in the mix as well as giant scup, one striped bass, one blue fish and even one codfish!
