Sunset Stripers Jigging Trip
captain Ant reports another spectacular Sunset Jigging trip.  We caught all Montauk’s summer bounty last night, Bass, Blues, Sea Bass, Scup and Fluke and witness one of the most colorful sunset’s with red in the sky and red all over the deck!!!  We started with 3 keeper bass on our first 2 drifts along with some monster blues.  We picked mostly blues and scup in the middle of the tide but finished strong with our last 3 drifts producing 10 more keeper bass and another 10 shorties along with some more choppers. The pool winner Michael Lyons, Selden NY with a 21lber Second place went to Mr Al Goffredo from Port Jefferson Station, NY with a 19lbs

Half Day Fishing PM
Capt Ant reports difficult conditions and slow fishing in the afternoon. Big swell on against the ebb tide seemed to shut down the big fluke bite. We picked a few fluke and had some jumbo scup as well. Pool winner was Neil Squillante from Crestwood NY.

Half Day Fishing AM
Capt Ant reports a pick of keepers this morning but more shorts than keepers ratio than we’ve seen lately. Still great action and a few beauty sea bass mixed in with the fluke.

Full Day Porgies
Captain Dave reports a great day of fishing although the porgies were slightly smaller. 99% of the fish caught were porgies today. Fluke up to 6lbs were caught ands a couple of blue fish were caught as well. The pool winner was Carlos Hooky from NY,NY  with a 3lb porgy.
