Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports another excellent day of porgy and sea bass fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We slammed the porgies all morning, then decided to go look for the sea bass and we found them! The sea bass were a little on the smaller side, but just kept coming over the rails. We also had some bluefish in the mix. Today’s first place pool winner was Ted Gallis of South Plainfield with a 3lb porgy, and in second place was Nelson Hernandez of Bay Shore with a 6lb bluefish.
