Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports fishing started good this morning but as the day went on fishing got tough. We still manage to put a nice catch together with some keeper Fluke & Striped bass in the mix. There were a lot off Sea bass around and those caught were released unharmed. The pool winner was Mr  Jian Deng with a 3lbs Porgy.

Half Day AM
Capt Dave G reports a decent morning of fluke, porgies and seabass (all returned unharmed). We had the junior members of the Devin Yacht Club out on the boat and they had a great time!

Half Day PM
Capt Dave G reports a good afternoon on the fishing grounds despite slack tide conditions during the middle of the afternoon. We ended up with some nice Fluke along with Sea bass (all returned unharmed) and porgies. The pool winner was 4 year old Alessandro Varriale from North Haven, CT with a 4 lb fluke. Honorable mention to galley girl Kelly with a 5 lb Fluke.

Sunset Jigging Striper Trip – Sunday July 12
Captain Stephen Francis reports that they were greeted with tons of birds and a strong tide. There were plenty of bass on the surface that bit the jigs. They were of the smaller model variety, but still fun to catch! There were a couple of scup in the mix and no blue fish.

John Viol’s Inshore Hungry Man Charter
Captain Steven Sr. reports an amazing trip! We went out in hunt of jumbo fluke and we found them! Right off the bat on the first drift we had three keeper fluke over 5lbs. We fished in the tide catching numerous 5, 6, 7 and even 8lb fluke! In total 143 keeper fluke for the day! Once the sun started to set we switched to eels in hunt for big bass. The bite was a littler slower then it had been, but we still managed to catch 12 striped bass up to 40+ pounds. The first place pool winner was John Viol from Mohegan Lake, NY with an 8lb fluke. The second place winner was Andy Catinella from Hicksville, NY with a 39.7lb striped bass.
