Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Sarah reports a very light crowd today on the Stariper. The fluke bite was a bit fickle but we managed to land over a handful of doormats. The largest fluke was 9.4lbs but wasn’t in the pool. We also had a lot of sea bass and some porgies mixed in. Today’s first place pool winner was Richard Fallon of Bayshore with an 8.8lb fluke.

Half Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a slower bite this morning on the Viking Star. Still we managed some nice keeper fluke, some sea bass and some porgies. First place pool winner was Joseph Miele of Cortlandt Manor with a 6.2lb fluke and in second place was Garret Kassler of Plainview with a 6lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer PorgiesĀ  & Seabass
Captain Dave reports a very slow start to the day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There was lots of bites but for the most part these were throwback fish. Eventually Captain Dave managed to zero in on a spot with a few good sized porgies. Seabass fishing was a bit better with everyone reaching their limits. Today’s Pool winner was Morlone Adams from Bronx NY with a 3lb Porgy.

Long Range Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports an Excellent Night of Bass fishing on the Viking Starship! The bite was ON as soon as we started fishing with some nice size moo cows coming over the rails! We had steady action of quality fish for most of the night… Then had to sit through a long slack tide, but when it started moving again they started chewing again and we ended up catching our Full Boat Limit of quality Stripers! Andrew Kissoon from Queens, NY took the pool with a 36.6 lb beauty moo cow linesider Striped Bass!
