Sunset Striped Bass and Bottom Fishing
Captain Dave reports a slow night aboard the Viking Star. We gave it a good shot and moved around a bit, but it was a slow go, however we did manage a few nice ones in the boat by the end of the night. The pool winner was Dommick Sconzo of Selden with a nice 39lb striped bass.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports that we went exploring for some new porgy areas today and found some nice fish. The porgies were a bit on the smaller side and there were a good amount of sea bass up to 4lbs. We also caught a couple of fluke up to 6lbs. The pool winner was Mr. Lee from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.5lb porgy.

1/2 Day Fluke AM
Captain Joe reports an excellent morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. The conditions were good and the bite was strong. They caught lots of good sized keeper fluke. The pool winner was Christos Manatis from Brooklyn, NY with a nice 6.5lb Fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Captain Joe reports that fishing remained very good in the afternoon. There was a mixed bag of Fluke, Porgies and Seabass. Christos Manatis took the pool again, this time with 7.5lb Fluke. Second place went to Barton Vey from Ashburn, Virginnia whose Fluke weighed 6.5lbs.
