Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a slower morning of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There was plenty of action but quite a lot of smaller fish. We gad one really good drift when the tide changed with lots of nice sized porgies and a few sea bass. We also had a handful of keeper flukes. Saylin Mendez from the Bronx was the first place pool winner with a 3lb porgy and second place went to Miguel Cordero from the Bronx with 4.5lb fluke.
