Mon Oct 2 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a slow day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. Today was a slower day than it’s been in a while, the bite was very off. Fishing would be good for the first part of the drop and would slowly dissipate till we made our next drop. Porgies were still between medium and large, and we had less SeaBass today than we’ve been seeing. Hopefully, with a nice weather window this week, we will see an improvement in fishing. Both pools went to Barry Hopp from Babylon, NY with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy and a 9 lb Cod fish. We are definitely sailing tomorrow at 5AM. The office opens at 4AM for ticket sales.
