Tue Oct 3 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a slightly better day than yesterday on the Viking Starship. We drifted most of the day and that worked out pretty well. Porgies were mixed size and there were a lot of little Sea Bass. The bite was definitely tougher than it’s been. There were also some Mackerel. First place pool winner was Ruel Bolotaolo from Bowie, MD with a 2.5 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Nicky Yanick from Brooklyn, NY with a 4 lb Sea Bass. The office will open at 4am tomorrow for ticket sales.
