Thurs Oct 1 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a slower day on the Viking Starship. We started out close to the island where we had a very good first drift on the ebb tide with mostly Porgies. Once the flood started it slowed down, so we headed out to the deep where we had mostly Sea Bass with a lot of Mackerel again. The first place pool winner was Shun Kan Lam from Queens, NY with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was John Sims from Bronx, NY with a 4.5 lb Sea Bass.
