Full Moon Night Bass

Capt Ant reports am awesome full moon bass trip. It was a steady bite most of the night with a few beauties coming aboard that needed to pay the extra baggage fee!  Brian Finnegan led the way with the first moo cow of the season at 30.9lbs. He also had a 27, a 25 and a 24 orl. We had a few with their limit as well.

They’re here in numbers folks, we are sailing Sunday at 530p to do it again!!!

Half Day Fluke PM
Capt Carl reports a much improved afternoon of fishing. We still had a bit of weeds in the way but we managed some fish on the boat. We had a couple blues, some porgies, fluke and a few sea bass which were released unharmed. This afternoons pool winner was Liz Fonesca of Elmhurst with a nice 7lb fluke! Her boyfriend won the pool this morning, but she had to come back and show him how the ladies do it! In second place we had Raymond Gillia of Riverhead with a 6lb fluke.

New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing this morning aboard the Viking Starship. We had plenty of porgies and sea bass today. Today’s pool winner was Joe Russo of Kenilworth, NJ with a nice 3.5lb porgy.

Montauk Cherry Harbor Porgies
Captain Ant reports a fast start to today’s trip but right smack in the middle the bite shut down. Most were able to manage a pail or more. Lewis took the pool with a true monster, a 4.1lb oven stuffer roaster. Today’s pool winner was Lewis Pinckney of Bridgeampton with a 4.5lb porgy. We sail tomorrow at 5a. Please make your reservations.

Half Day Fluke AMCapt Carl reports a very slow morning. There were lots of weeds covering hooks which made fishing difficult today. We had some shorts and 1 keeper. The pool winner was Michael Lanciotti of Garden City with a 4lb fluke.
