1/2 Day Fluke AM Capt Dave G reports a great morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We started slow at slack tide, but once the tide started, we caught lots of keeper fluke, sea bass and porgies. Our first place pool winner was Joe Malanga from Delia Terrace, Clark, NJ, a member of RBAC fishing club with a 5.5lb fluke. Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports the summer jumbos have moved out. We anchored up a bunch of times and managed to put together a nice catch- we had porgies, sea bass, some fluke, blues and a few striped bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Adam Saler of Brooklyn with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Phillip Clarke of Wyandanch with a nice 4lb sea bass. 1/2 Day Fluke AM Cap Dave G reports a great morning of fishing. 1/2 Day Fluke AM Capt Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star despite the unsettled weather. We started the trip catching some nice keeper fluke. Long Range LTD Passenger Behemoth Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports a SOLID night of Behemoth Bass fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had a slow but steady pick of all XXL moo cow Striped Bass! Some drifts were better than others and we ended up just a couple fish shy of our boat limit. Most fish were in the 25-40 pound class, with a pair of moo cows weighing in at 47 lbs, and Bill Barasch of Plainview, NY took the pool with a 51 lb 10 oz Behemoth Bass!  Half Day Fluke PM Captain Joe reports a tough afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star today. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Joe reports a very good afternoon of fishing! We had a nice mess of fluke along with lots of sea bass with some scup. Overall it was a great day! Pool winners to follow.
