Half Day PM and McCulley Charter Captain Joe reports lots of action this afternoon with tons of shorts and a nice mix of fluke, porgies and some nice sea bass (all released unharmed). Captain Dave G also reports a good afternoon with the McCulley Charter. They had a boat load of fun and caught some nice fluke! The pool winner on the Half Day PM boat was Josh Chambers of Moorstown NJ with a 4.75 fluke, and on the McCulley Charter was Gregg Mattingly of Southampton with a 4lb fluke. . Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports another fantastic night bass fishing on the Viking Starship! We fished Block for the entire ebb tide and had fish every drift to 43lbs! Once we lost the tide , we shot back to Montauk for the beginning of the flood tide and caught very well. We filled our full boat limit of GIANT MOO COW LINESIDERS!! Jay Weber from Ridge, NY took the top honors with a 43.5lb behemoth, barely edging out another 42.5 pounder! . Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports absolutely phenomenal fishing on the Viking Starship tonight! Every single person fought and landed a moo cow tonight under the Montauk Lighthouse! We had many drifts with 8 on, 9 on, just absolute mayhem! We ended up limiting out again with all big fish and released some as well to fight another day! 30 pounders were the normal size, with the average weight class of 25-35 pounders! Montauk NY Local Barney Breslin found himself a real behemoth bass in the mix, winning the pool with a giant 47lb 8oz bass! . Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass Captain Carl is happy to report that the Block Island Behemoth trip lived up to it’s name last night! There are not as many fish as there are in Montauk just yet, but every single one caught was an XXL model, with the smallest fish of the trip just shy of 30lbs. The two biggest weighed in at 47lbs and 49lbs! All the others were in the 30-40lb class. Any day now, the behemoth grounds will break wide open with them! Sunset Jigging Striper Trip – July 6th Captain Stephen Francis reports a slow night of jigging bass last night, but there was action at the end of the ebb with some angry blue fish! There were some scup caught while there was no tide. When the flood started there were some bass caught. The pool winner was Guy Levy from Hampton Bays, NY. 1/2 Day-AM Captain Dave G reports a nice morning on the Viking Star in foggy conditions. There was a very nice pick of fluke on the first part of the tide. Sunset Jigging Striper Trip Captain Stephen Francis reports a slow start to the evening since there was no tide when they got to the grounds. Without the tide they still caught a bunch of porgies and a few blue fish. About half way through the trip they started getting the flood tide and were greeted with some jumbo stripers! It was a fun and action packed trip!! 1/2 Day Fluke-AM Captain Dave G reports a nice morning of fishing on the Viking Star. They landed fluke, porgies, and sea bass (returned unharmed). Half Day AM Captain Stephen Francis reports a bit of a slow morning aboard the Viking Stariper. We had an east wind with a funny tide, and even though we moved around a bit, it was tough fishing. We did manage a handful of keepers. Today’s pool winner was Frank Cetro of West Islip with a 3.5lb fluke. Sat July 4- HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Block Island Behemoth Captain Carl reports another awesome night of bass fishing! We stayed local due to the massive amounts of MOO COWS and it paid off! It started off a little slow, with one here and there, but once the tide turned, it was on! All XXL models with 2 over 40lbs and a couple over 30lbs, and the rest were over 20lbs. We had ANOTHER FULL BOAT LIMIT and it was spectacular! Eddie Kantar from Yonkers took the pool with a 44lb 14oz behemoth! We are sailing again tonight at 6pm! Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports absolutely phenomenal Bass Fishing! From the first drift to the last, we caught MONSTER Moo Cow Linesiders, all in the 25 to 45 lb class! It was EPIC and we had a FULL BOAT LIMIT! Three fish were over 40lbs including pool winner Mike Sedowski of Queeens, NY who had a 42 lb 10 oz cow! We had a lot over 30lbs as well. Full Day Fluke Captain Stephen Francis reports a fine day on the full day fluke boat today. It started off a little slow, but after we made a move we found some nice fluke to work on. We picked away all day and ended up just 3 away from our boat limit! Low hook on the boat had 3, but everyone else had 4 or 5 keepers. Saul Gonzalez of Freeport, NY had his limit of fluke and won the pool with a 6.10lb fluke. We also had some pretty giant scup in the mix as well as plenty of jumbo sea bass (all released unharmed).
