Half Day Fluke AM

Captain Joe reports an excellent morning of fishing today! We had fluke up to 10lbs!! Also some sea bass up to 4.5lbs. We had a great morning, everyone caught fish and had a wonderful time! Today’s first place winner was Ramon Thomas of Mastic NY with his JUMBO 9.9lb fluke! And second place went to Henry Licata of Woodside NY with a 4.5lb sea bass.

Full Day Porgies
Captain Dave reports that fishing was slow today. Many sea bass were caught but most were small in size. We had sea bass up to 4lbs. Most people limited out on sea bass. The porgy fishing was very slow but the ones that were caught were of the largest variety. We caught 4 keeper fluke and a striped bass. The porgy pool winner was Benjamin Bernard from Queens, NY with a 4lb jumbo porgy. The edible pool winner was Shirley Dane from St Albans, NY with a 15lb striped bass.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joe reports a tough day because of the conditions. This afternoon the wind picked up. We still managed keeper fluke and a lot of porgies. The pool winner was Eddie Pugh who is only 12 years oldĀ from Vienna, VA with a 8.3 lb Fluke.
