Night Striped Bass

Capt. Ant reports an EXCELLENT night of fishing on both jigs and eels.  We started the night with the last of the flood and found birds working and fishing rolling, we nailed a few bass, had a few shorts, some scup, 2 fluke and many Monster Blues.  With the rain came a quick sunset so we switched to eels for the last ounce of flood and nailed one more and dropped a couple.  The ebb never really got going though we picked up one up inside but it was slow for a an hour or so.  Then we stumbled upon a pile that lit the screen up.  Game on…bass and big blues .  All the bass were healthy going 20-25lbs with our biggest at 28.  We had fish on our last 7 drifts, a great way to end the evening.  Mats Berneblad from Sweden took the pool with a 25.6lber.  Chris Luke had his limit to 22lbs, one on a jig another on an eel and one moo cow that broke off regrettably.  One customer nailed 4 total (orl).  George Jehn caught a rat on the jig, but did manage to swipe some scales off a moo cow…let em eat Georgie!!!
Captain Ant and First mate Eric would like to say thanks to the Regina Family who fished with us all week.  When you look up the word FAMILY in the dictionary, you’ll see their pictures, just the nicest human beings on the planet.  Safe home boys, see you in the fall!!!  Oh yeah, their tally was two keeper bass and 6 whoppa choppas!!!
Friday Nights trip is across the pond departing at 8p in search of the B.I. Behemoths!!!

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Joe reports very good fishing. There were a large amount of keepers. We had about a dozen really nice size sea bass and a bunch of fluke. One striped bass was caught as well. Everybody went home with fish. The pool winner was Gary Frost from St. James with a 6lb 13oz fluke.

Full Day Porgies
Captain Dave reports very good fishing this morning. There were some nice size porgies and sea bass caught in the early morning. Later in the day around 11 am the porgies stopped biting. There were still a few nice size sea bass caught although the rest of the day was a little slow. The pool winner was Joe Webb from Nichols, SC with a 3 1/2 lb porgy.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joe reports that despite the rain and grey weather fish was good. We ended up with a decent number of keeper fluke for the day. The pool winner was 8 year old Gavin Vigiucci with a 6.5lb fluke.
