Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a bit of a slower day today due to the east winds. It started out with some smaller sized fish than what we have been getting, so we moved to find the bigger ones. And we found them, but it was quality over quantity today. What we managed to get was a nicer sized. We only had a few sea bass today and also about a dozen keeper cod up to 15lbs. Today’s first place pool winner was Randy from Jersey City with a 4lb porgy and in second was Benjamin Barajas of Queens with a 15lb cod.
