Half Day Fluke PM

Captain Joe reports a good afternoon of fishing today. Again we had mostly nice fluke, but we pulled up some more porgies and really nice sea bass. There is a full moon coming up, and we think that after the moon the porgy and sea bass bite will just continue to get better and better. Today’s first place pool winner was Paul Houstin of Lowdow UK with a 6.7 lb fluke and in second place was Allyson Matty of Plainview NY with a 6.1 lb fluke.

Full Day Montauk Porgy and Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports a slower day of fishing today. There was no wind and not much to the tide, so in the hotter weather it wasn’t as good fishing as yesterday. We still made out with a decent amount of fish. Today’s pool winner was David Nichols of Southampton NY with a 3lb porgy.

Half Day Fluke AM

Captain Joe reports a very hot morning on the water today. Despite the hot conditions, we were able to get the fluke! We had mostly fluke, some porgies and a few sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Derek Edwards of East Setauket NY with a 6.1lb fluke, and in second place was Tony DiBiase of Wayne NJ with a 5.5lb fluke.
