Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today. The morning started out good with some porgies, but when the conditions got a bit worse, the bite dropped out. We moved to try and find some sea bass, and we did, but they were much smaller than we have been seeing. We also had some bluefish in the mix. Today’s first place winner was JC McLeod of Brooklyn with a 3lb porgy, and in second place was Jeff Greenbaum of NY with a 12lb bluefish.
