Night Bass Jig and Eel Combo Capt Ant reports a frustrating night bassing. We had fish immediately on jigs. They were busting water birds everywhere and they were feeding. then the storm hit 20-25 NE winds and torrential rains and completely shut it down but not before George Jehn limited out and took the pool with a 24lber. Chris Luke mailed a nice one as well. We also had a mess of jumbo scup on the jig. Tonight is our Block Island Behemoths Trip Departing at 8pm Returning at 4am the fare is $125 with a $5 rod rental. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Carl reports a good afternoon of fishing! We started off with some BIG doormats biting! Jessica Giarrizzo of Port Jeff took the pool with her first ever fluke at 7.22lbs! Her boyfriend Dominic Pellegrino also had a nice 5.15 pounder! They had some other keepers too and there were lots of other keepers around the boat. We also had lots of short action. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Carl reports a tougher afternoon than the morning trip. Towards the end of the trip we finally had some good tide and keeper fluke coming along with giant scup in the mix along with some sea bass that were all released unharmed. Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports a good day great weather on the porgy grounds we had lots of action coming over the rails some small to medium size porgies mixed in.The pool winner was Mr James Mcleod with a 3.5lb . Half Day Fluke PM Capt Ant reports ”Fluking” ON FIRE ! on the pm trip. from start to finish it was tea bag central with dangling flatties all around the boat. Paul Kerisli had 4 keepers to 3.5lbs Jerry had 3, Jade had the largest at 5.5lbs but wasn’t in the pool. Night Striped Bass Captain Ant reports signs of normality on the Bass front. No weed, birds working and fish busting. We jigged a few, then unfortunately we lost the tide. On the switchover we nailed a few beauties to 28lbs. The pool winner was Fengyi Tian of Flushing, NY. John Stella had 3 keepers (orl) and dropped a 4that the boat, his largest being 26lbs. Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports slow night bassing fish & bait were stacked. They just wouldn’t bite. Its when we didn’t mark ’em, we’d pick a few. Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports a frustrating night of bassing. We started the night picking and then the weed moved in and shut it down. Every spot we hit had weed but we managed a few. Bridge Hampton Doug took the pool with a 28lber and Steve “Pool Man” Bento took 2nd with a 23lber. Steve also limited out. Montauk Jumbo Porgies Capt Dave reports a decent day today in Montauk, NY. The morning bite was good, pulling up nice quality porgies up to about 4lbs. The afternoon was a little tougher with the different tide, but we still managed nice big fish coming over the rails. Most people aboard had their limit or close to it, and we also had some fluke in the mix.

Night Striped Bass Attention Bass Assassins! Capt Ant reports a phenomenal Father’s Day excursion with behemoth size bass slamming on the deck of the Viking Star. We jigged up a couple early and lost a giant as well. At sunset, we switched to the snakes and it was game on! Just like Saturday night, we’d get a couple hook ups a drift, but they were solid size bass. After 4 drifts, Danny Wes had 3 keepers to 30lbs, but he was saving the best for last. A mammoth 44.22lb bass! Little did Danny know, Chris “Cool Hand” Luke also hooked up and the two competitive friends waited until the return for the official weigh in.
