Friday June 26

Half Day Fluke PM Captain Stephen Francis reports a better afternoon that this morning of fluke fishing. We had a bit of a slow start but we still managed a handful of nice keepers. Today’s pool winner was Joe Gannon of Ronkonkoma with a 3.6lb fluke. Half Day Fluke AM Captain Stephen Francis reports an okay morning today on the half day boat. On our first drop we immediately had a nice 4lb keeper fluke, but then the wind picked up a bit and the tide died out. We moved around a few times and ended up with a handful of fish. Thursday June 25

Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports an excellent day of porgy fishing today in Montauk. We had mostly big porgies with a mix of some keeper fluke and some blues. Today’s pool winner was John Mohammadi Hauppauge with a 3.5lb.

Wed June 24th

Montauk Jumbo Porgies Capt Dave reports nice big fish today. Some nice Seabass were caught and all were returned unharmed. The pool winner was Bill Wong from Woodridge, NJ with a 3.75 lb porgy. Overall it was an okay day.

Tue June 23

Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports very good day of porgy fishing at the lighthouse with nice size fish. There were also a lot of throwback seabass. The pool was split by Robert Batt of Floral Park, NY and Gerald Johnson III from Bronx, NY with 3lb porgies.

Monday June 22nd

Montauk Full Day Jumbo Fluke  for Tuesday June 23rd is CANCELLED! Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports that the morning fishing on the Ebb Tide was good with a mix of small to medium fish. Sun June 21

Half Day Fluke PM Capt Stephen Francis reports a slow start to this afternoons trip. But once the tide picked up the bite was on! We had a decent catch of nice sized fluke. The pool winner was Tyler Weiss of Montauk, NY with a 5lb fluke. Half Day Fluke AM Today’s first place pool winner was Ben Greenspan of Glen Cove with a 4.2lb fluke and in second place was Lynn Gurthicie of Montauk with a 3.7lb fluke. Sat June 20

Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports a tough grind on the night bass boat. We started off jigging and had some action with some bluefish, a few giant scup and 1 nice keeper bass. After we switched to the live eels, we had another bass, but that was it. Today’s first place pool winner was Tad Picker of the Bronx with a 20lb striped bass and in second place was Eric Stewart of Bayport with an 18lb striped bass. Fri May 19

Half Day-AM Captain Steven Francis reports a good morning of fishing on the Viking Stariper. The tide was good and they had plenty of fish with a lot of shorts. The pool winner was Charles Allbright of Floral Park, NY with a 3.52lb fluke. Montauk Jumbo Spring Porgies Captain Dave reports a good first day fishing at the Lighthouse, catching really nice big scup. Then they headed down the beach for an exploratory trip, where they had more action with slightly smaller fish. All in all it was pretty good fishing for the first day on the new grounds. The pool winner was Rob Batt from Floral Park, NY with a 3.7lb porgy. *Remember we are still departing at 5am this weekend. This Monday the departure time will change to 6am and the fare will be $85.

Thursday June 18th

Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Stephen Francis reports that fishing started out amazing with some nice porgies coming over the rail. Fishing slowed down a bit when the tide changed but we still manage to put a nice catch together. The pool winner was Mr Grantley Black from Newark, NJ with a 3.9lbs Porgy.

Wed June 17

Montauk Jumbo Spring Porgies Capt Stephen Francis reports a very good day of porgy fishing. We hade lots of action with lots of big fish. Todays pool winner was Sam Clark from Bayshore with a jumbo 3.9 lb porgy.
